Shhh, I have found the fountain of fitness and youth…water workouts… a place where you or your patients can burn up to 400 calories an hour. It’s easy on the joints.
I was so tired of all of those bootcamp classes that left me aching for days. Know what I’m talking about? And I didn’t even enjoy them so I switched to water aerobics. I slip on an Aqua Jogger which is one of several types of flotation belts that are excellent for this type of workout. Then I run in the water and it just takes me away. A workout that helps to melt away stress.
Plus you or your patients can burn up to 400 calories per hour. If you prefer to run where your feet touch the ground, that’s fine. Or wade out into the deep water (which is the reason for the belt) and run with your feet not touching down. Enjoy a fabulous workout. Bonus! No negative impact on your joints. Regina
